Accelerate the Migration of 10,000 Small Files From NFS to Amazon S3 Using AWS DataSync

In this demo video, we will use two methods to transfer 10,000 very small files from an NFS share to an Amazon S3 bucket. We will discuss scenarios where you want to accelerate the transfer of application data, or backup and archive data to Amazon S3 and its storage classes. First, we will use a copy script and then AWS DataSync, then we will compare the benefits AWS DataSync provides from a simplicity, performance, metadata, and data integrity checking perspective.
