Getting started with deep learning can feel intimidating. In this session join Gabe Hollombe, Technical Evangelist at AWS, as we simplify deep learning by explaining basic concepts with minimal jargon and only a bit of high-school math. Find out how easy it is to take an existing pre-trained general-purpose image classification model from the cloud and re-train it to identify specific classes of objects. Learn how to do all of this with Python, using a Jupyter notebook hosted from Amazon Sagemaker. We will conclude by providing additional resources on where and how to learn more.
