I work with Emerging Tech - Build and Deploy an Amazon Lex Chatbot and Convert it to an Alexa Skill

Amazon Lex can help you launch a sophisticated natural language chatbot for your new and existing applications. It provides the deep functionality and flexibility of natural language understanding (NLU) and automatic speech recognition (ASR) so you can build a conversational interface. In this session, we show you how to build a chatbot and deploy it across messaging services such as Slack, Facebook, and Twilio, as well as on a website. We also demonstrate how to convert this Amazon Lex chatbot into an Alexa skill. Sohan is a Developer Advocate based out of Amsterdam, Netherlands. He is deeply passionate about emerging technologies and how it is shaping the world around us. He frequently works with developers in startups, ISVs, and enterprises on their cloud strategy. He previously worked as an Alexa Evangelist at Amazon, and has been in the developer relations space since 2013.
