Cathay Pacific migrated its on-premises PROS into the cloud on AWS. A Hong Kong–based airline with more than 200 destinations across 5 continents, Cathay Pacific struggled to run its PROS with its on-premises solution, experiencing update difficulties and a general lack of compute power. After migrating its database to the cloud on Amazon RDS for Oracle, Cathay Pacific saw a 20 percent increase in performance.
