Published on Mar 29, 2019

Join the Amazon Sumerian team as we look at real-world, enterprise applications and how to build them. In this episode, we are excited to invite Solutions Architects Adam Strickland and Bashar Al-fallouji from Australia. Adam and Bashar recently created an application called the "Virtual Barista", which uses a Sumerian Host to take coffee orders and delivers them to a live barista. This project was originally showcased at re:Invent 2018 and has since been demonstrated all over the world! Amazon Sumerian lets you create and run virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and 3D applications quickly and easily without requiring any specialized programming or 3D graphics expertise. With Sumerian, you can build highly immersive and interactive scenes that run on popular hardware such as Oculus Go, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, HTC Vive Pro, Google Daydream, and Lenovo Mirage as well as Android and iOS mobile devices.
