AWS IoT SiteWise is a new service that helps industrial enterprises connect to and collect data from equipment, such as manufacturing lines and assembly robots, and compute performance metrics from that data. During this session, we will dive into the key features, including how customers can use these metrics to identify waste, such as breakdown of equipment and processes, gaps in production, and defects in products. It will also cover how customers can build representations of physical operations by grouping the collected data streams into machines and then grouping those machines to represent an industrial process.
